Faculty
The mutual goal of both faculty and Career Services is student success. So, how can we help you? The following are some of the services we offer:
We help students determine the right career for their interests, career goals, skills, values and personality. During their academic careers, students return to Business Career Services to develop essential job search skills. We are a student's best resource for job outlook, salary, and labour market information. We know employers who want to hire our students and we work directly with employers on a daily basis. Beyond informing your students, we can bring this information to your class. We offer an assortment of workshops and presentations that can be brought to the classes you teach. These topics include:
- Writing an effective cover letter and resume
- Job search skills
- Employability skills
- Interviewing techniques and portfolio development
- Networking skills and mentorship support
In addition, we can connect you with professionals (many of them alumni), who can relate their experiences and how their degree/major has helped them in their careers.
These are just some of the services and support we offer. Please contact Career Services and Work Integrated Learning at 780-492-2166 or at bizcareers@ualberta to explore how, together, we can achieve student success. We look forward to working with you.
If this is your first time accessing CareerConnect you will need to complete the Faculty Registration.
